Restoration for Attics and CrawlSpaces

A large majority of the wild animals we’ve dealt with in our over thirty years of experience at Nuisance Wildlife Control seem to have favored attics over other areas of human property. On this page, you’ll find all the relevant information about the types of damage wild animals can cause to your attic or crawlspace, as well as how our team of qualified wildlife removal professionals goes about restoring those damaged parts of your home.

First off, a word about us…

Nuisance Wildlife Control is based in the Northern Alabama region. We have locations in Decatur, Madison, and Huntsville, AL, and serve all of the surrounding area. We also offer our clients a free estimate, so that they have an idea how much our humane wildlife removal, cleanup and repair services will cost them.

The animals we are trained to remove from your property include snakes, skunks, beavers, birds, groundhogs, raccoons, bats, possums, and others. If you are not sure whether we deal with your particular need, we recommend giving us a call. Don’t worry, our removal and exclusion methods are humane, and non-lethal, and cause no harm to the wildlife.

Our Attic and Crawlspace Restoration Services

The wild animals mentioned above can cause quite a bit of damage to attics and crawl spaces, such as:

  • Damaged or trampled insulation – wild animals can damage insulation either by contaminating it with their feces, or by trampling, chewing, or tearing at it. We make a point of replacing the damaged insulation in your attic or crawl space.
  • Compromised electric cords and wires – some wild animals will chew on your wires and cords, thus endangering the entire house. We also replace damaged wires.
  • Chewed structures – another big issue with having wild animals in your attic is that they’re quite likely to chew on your wooden structures, thus compromising the safety and stability of your home. We also offer fortification and replacement services that restore the safety of your property.
  • Cracks and tears in the walls or foundation – another important issue is to consider how the wild animals got in, in the first place. Most commonly, they do so through a crack or hole in the wall, roof, or foundation of your house, which we will then promptly seal to avoid future infestations. It’s important that we seal the entry point quickly, and by using hard materials, otherwise, you’ll just find new animals living there within a few months.

All in all, we are only able to tell you what type of repair and restoration services you need following a brief inspection of the property. This is why, if you live in the Decatur, Madison, or Huntsville, AL, areas we invite you to give us a call at 256-636-1168, or leave us a message on email, or through our online form

Our team of wildlife removal professionals will assess the situation, and determine what needs to be done to get your home in tip-top shape.
