About Us

Hi there, and welcome to Nuisance Wildlife Control! If you’ve landed on this page, it means you’d like to know a little more about us, which is only fair, since we all learned, as children, that it’s polite to first introduce yourself. So let us do that here.

Nuisance Wildlife Control is a locally-owned wildlife removal service in the Northern Alabama region. We currently have branches in three separate locations. You can find us in:

Although our offices are based in these three locations, we cater to the entire Northern Alabama region. This means that if you’ve got problems with a nuisance wild animal on your property, and live in neighboring Marshall County, you can still give us a call, and we’ll gladly come out!

We have been in the Alabama wildlife control business for more than thirty years now. In that time, we have acquired a team of seasoned wildlife removal experts, who have seen pretty much any situation relating to wild animals you can imagine. We’ve removed wild animals all over the Northern Alabama region, and have always done so with the utmost care and professionalism, which has earned us quite a golden reputation, around these parts.

What do we do?

Nuisance Wildlife Control handles the humane and efficient removal of a host of wild animals from inside or around human properties. We specialize in the safe and harmless removal of these animals, as we find it both inhumane and largely ineffective to kill the animals in the removal process.

So how do we do that?

Our team of professionals uses devices like live traps, exclusion mechanisms, or other deterrents, to either capture, kick out, or scare the animal off your property, and encourage it to find a home elsewhere.

Step 1. First, we encourage you to get a free estimate of how much our services will cost in your particular case. You can do this by calling 256-636-1168, or contact us online. This will help you plan your wildlife removal budget.

Step 2. Our removal experts will arrive at your property and inspect the situation. This will allow them to determine which removal method is best in your case.

Step 3. The wildlife removal team will set about capturing, and removing the animal from your property.

Step 4. This is where you can opt for our cleanup and repair services, which you can learn more about below.

Step 5. You will put into action our expert’s advice on future prevention and property care.

Wildlife removal isn’t all that difficult, and we don’t think it should be a source of stress for you or your family.

Removal Methods

We use live traps quite often. These are usually placed in the animals’ lair, along their natural path, or near their entry point, and are baited with an appropriate edible. Once inside, the animal steps on a plate that causes the cage door to fall shut, allowing us to safely relocate the animal, without harming it.

We also sometimes employ exclusion devices, which are mounted to the exterior of your home (on top of the animal’s entry point), and allow it to get out, in search of food, but not to get back in.

Lastly, our team of experts might employ other wildlife deterrents that will usually make the property undesirable to the wild animal, or scare it away, without harming it.

Repair and Cleanup

Since the presence of wild animals on your property is basically exposing you to various bacteria, and subsequently to serious diseases such as rabies, or histoplasmosis, we also offer cleanup services. These include the complete sanitization of the area the animal had access to, as well as the removal of any potentially harmful leftovers.

Our team of experts also offers damage repair services, since more often than not, these will also be necessary. Many wild animals have the bad habit of chewing, clawing, tearing, or trampling your property, so once a wild animal is removed, it’s often necessary to either fix or replace these.

We will replace damaged electric wires (which can be a potential fire hazard), and trampled insulation, but also fix and seal tears and holes in the foundation, walls, window structure, roofing, and so on. This will help prevent future wildlife invasions.

What animals do we handle?

We remove quite a few wild animals, including bats, raccoons, squirrels, skunks, birds, groundhogs, possums, coyotes, foxes, and snakes. We do not remove dogs, cats, rats, or mice.

So if you’re living in or around Decatur, Huntsville, or Madison, AL, and are troubled by one of the above animals, we strongly suggest that you give Nuisance Wildlife Control a call, so as to minimize the damage, and return to normal as soon as possible!
